Are you having trouble accessing the Arch Wiki?
You can install arch-wiki-docs, which allows offline access to the entire wiki:
sudo pacman -S arch-wiki-docs
This package is just 170 MiB in size and gets updated monthly, ensuring you always have the latest information at your fingertips.
Once installed, the wiki documentation will be located at /usr/share/doc/arch-wiki/
. For easy access, simply bookmark this file in your browser:
file:///usr/share/doc/arch-wiki/html/en/Main_page.html
By following these steps, you’ll have seamless offline access to the Arch Wiki documentation!
For Flatpak Users: If you’re using flatpaks (which block access to /usr/
), you’ll need to bind-mount the directory somewhere within your home folder. Add a line like this to your /etc/fstab
file:
# <file system> <dir> <type> <options> <dump> <pass> /usr/share/doc/arch-wiki/ /path/in/home none bind,ro,noatime,noauto,user,nofail 0 0
